ok, the alpha boat is better shape. means cosmetically. i assume you can afford all of this, and have the room to store a spare boat for a year. if you have to rush this job to resell second boat quik, then don't even consider it. memorial day is next weekend. a guy who does marine engine work could do this in a week, you can't. if not in a hurry, then buy bravo boat, compound the gelcoat . take seats and side panels out of alpha boat and put them in bravo boat. all of a sudden bravo boat don't look so bad. run it this summer. take bravo boat seats, etc, to interior guy and tell him no hurry. come end of season, sit back and look over both boats again. you still wanna do the swap, then do it. pick up redone interior and you have another tough decision. keep the good interior? or the new one? or get second interior done too? next spring you have a boat for sale that is MUCH nicer than the one you are considering dumping at a loss after july 4th this year. in prime selling season. good luck. oh yeah; welcome aboard!
