Default Bravo Prop Shaft Carrier

Just had some Bravo One drives dropped off. One lower has the standard cast carrier. The other one has a solid carrier, no exhaust opening at all. This is for sure, not a billet carrier from Merc, Imco or Max Machine. Are the outboard carriers interchangeable with Bravos?

I dont think ive seen a solid one?

The cast ones I have the oil drain threads are not casted very good,
