I rebuilt the one in my Ski Nautique. The best place I found for parts and service was Hale Marine. They are out of Warsaw VA. 1-800-544-3677 ask for Chris.

Buy one of these "master" rebuild kits. Then take it to a reputable local transmission shop. They are a quite simple transmission to rebuild especially when compared to a automotive automatic transmission. You start shipping it around plan on $75-100 each way. Just not that much to them. Or get a manual and do it yourself. I wouldn't take it to a marina or boat repair shop. They'll just sub it out to a trans shop.

give jim a call at federal transmission..he also up dates the pick up tubes and moves it further back in the trans..the older fountains run nose high and the pick up is in the front of the transmission and it will starve for oil..jim was also a BW engineer back in the day..

It's worth the freight to send it to Steve at certified in grand rapids Michigan. He's been doing transmissions for 30 plus years.
