need to fix these trs slop
got my bottom job done so now to takle this steering issue..
i have slop from side to side. mercstuff.com doesnt carry the repair kits anymore so now what? i got new paint on my drives also can i do this job without messing up the paint?

Not sure if this is a fix or just a band aid but you could always go with full hydraulic steering, if you look under my "TRS won't come off" Thread there is a member selling a Latham set for TRS's.

Where?
Is there an issue at the hinge pin, or at the tie bar above your borgs?
If it is inside, lose that bucket of crap bar (cold rolled steel) and go with an external with a tie bar. Whatever you do, don't use both....you will crack your gimbal ring while trimming.
Is it the tiller? Also inside. Figure out which one, use the other....and go outside with your tie bar.
Need more info....even a pic....
