Bravo I fluid reservoir hose with quick click connect cracked?
Hello,
While winterizing my boat, pulled off all water hoses and back flushed..while doing so I believe I must of bumped the hose that carries the drive fluid and connects to the top of the gimble housing. I believe it is a plastic quick connect fitting. Now I believe it has a crack in it, as I am leaking drive fluid from that region as the boat is sitting in the garage. I found a blow out of parts diagram..not sure what to order..any help is greatly appreciated. thanks. Any help in how-to this thing would be awesome.

#1 and or #5
It looks like you'd have to pull the helmet to get #1 out.
Disconnect the hose and look close. Maybe a piece of dirt got in the O ring. Fingers are crossed for ya.

I just got finished replacing both #1 and #5. #1 is not bad you just pull off the water inlet hose and you can get at the quick connect fitting fairly easy. Getting the c lip off to get the #5 out is a little more difficult. You do have to take the helmet off to get at it. That is how I broke mine!

Helmet's not a big deal.
Pull drive
Remove clip 4 holding plastic nipple in
Remove helmet hinge pins
Maybe you can push helmet out of the way "just enough" to remove nipple(still attached to hose)from transom assy. If not, pull bellows from helmet by removing inner ring.
If helmet comes completely off;
Use bellows glue on bellows
Use teflon paste on shift cable gasket and don't overtighten. You may squish gasket out.
Don't forget to feel gimbal bearing and check drive alignment

Pretty sure it is part #1 and #5, going to replace #5 first (as it is easiest) and see if that clears up my issue..still need to service my drive, so will most likely replace #1 at that time if need be. anybody have a nice write up for bravo I service process? also what is a good bravo I drive alignment tool?
