This is very true... I am experiencing this right now with my boat. I repowered +300 hp and am running just a little faster than before with the SC. Frustrating for sure.

What prop,s are you using ? do you have a extension box ?

were you -2 with your old drive?

Yes, I had a -2 on it with a 1" spacer. tried a 1/2" spacer but lost bow lift and 2 mph, but the boat felt much looser.

Have you tried any 5 blade? Bravo 1 4 blade isnt a good surfacing prop.

i believe an extension box is in order , higher drive cleaner water & probably a maximus prop .

Im kind of confused on the new lowers. Did IMCO change them again? I just saw a post on Teagues fb page that said they were the first ones to get them and the post was March 24th.
