These older boats have bottoms that came out of the mold a bit wavy and then add all the years of sitting on trailers and boat lifts made them worse. At 60 mph my boat rides good, at 70 it runs a bit flat, at 80 mph the bow is low, at 85 plus it's a scarey ride with the bow plowing and bow steering . After 70mph the boat doesn't react to trim at all. It just raises rpm do to prop slip from over trimming . I tried turning the props in . I picked up 3-4 mph but then the boat felt loose and still bow steering . That makes a scarey ride at 90mph.

My scarab behaved just like this after adding significant power and raise the drives 2". It was scarey with bow steer when putting the coal to it. Switching props to spinning in fixed it nicely.
