Default Bravo 1 Trim problems

I have a 92 checkmate persuader 219. Recently we have started having problems with the trim. If the boat is off or the switch is in the on position with the motor off the trim works correctly. Up down and the trailer button all work as they should. Once the boat is cranked the trim 95% of the time will not go up using the up or trailer button but will go down fine. Every once in while it will also blow the 20 amp fuse. Also periodically it will start to work as we are running down the lake but may go back out at a moments notice. We have changed the up soleliond, check main ground wires, etc. we have notice that even though the trim will not go up if you hit the up switch or the trailer button that the voltage gauge will move so we are getting power to the switches.

Any help is greatly appreciate and thanks in advance for the help!!!

Do you know if your trim system has the Auto Trim 2 system with manual mode?

Info about the system can be found here, http://www.boatfix.com/merc/Servmanl/11/11d5r5x.pdf
