Default Broken prop shaft Bravo X

So broke my first prop shaft after 9 years of High performance boating. Was not even running hard when it broke, flat water 4k rpm. Might have hurt it last weekend though, don't know always thought I was pretty good on the sticks. So whats involved? never did any drive work.

I would put on an Imco lower with a 1 1/4 inch prop shaft.

That sucks. If you NEVER worked on one bring it to a pro. Not a DIY fix in my book Tim. Good Luck.

I agree. It's not a terribly hard thing to do, but not something to tackle on your own the first time without some guidance from a pro.

While you're at it, you might want to look into the conversion kits to go to a 1 1/4" shaft.

If you dont want to swing the cash on a 1.25 shaft. Buy the IMCO 1 inch shaft. I had them and was surprised at the beating they took without twisting the shaft splines.
