Yanmar ZT370 gear lube recommendation
Hi guys,
we have many issues with our ZT370 yanmar stern drives. Loads of metal dust / little metal parts from th gear wheels in the filter and on the magnet!
used before quicksilver gear lube recommended by yanmar, after 100 hours oil change quicksilver comes out black ( burned ) swapped to redline gear lube,mixing 75/90 and 75/140
color dark brown still issues with metal parts who clog upper unit mechanic shift piston !
read about shockproof from redline but scared about clutch problems!?
any suggestions wich lube we should use. Operating in Thailand so very warm water anyway.
any recommendations are welcome !
