Default AGM Batteries

Anyone have any problems with heat from the engine compartment affecting AGM batteries? I read that they don't like a lot of heat?? I'm looking to purchase a dual purpose AGM but want to be sure it will work OK.

There should not be enough heat to affect agm batteries, Have been running them for 20 years in boats, cars, race cars, atv's and my seadoos. I see up to ten years life on my boat batteries.

I'm going to buy the Duracell battery from Sam's Club. It's a Deka battery and I have read all good reviews. Plus it's made here in PA!

I was looking at the Sears Platinum AGM Batteries over the winter. I looked at them again the middle of last week. The group 31's were about $217 on sale if I remember correctly. I looked again today and they are $260. I MISSED THE SALE!!!!! I knew I should have bought them LOL I
