Default Fountain depth transducer

I have a 29 Fever with the Livorsi depth sounder transducer in the step compartment inside the cabin. The transducer has broke free from the hull. I know I need to remove all the old epoxy and sand the hull before reinstalling it. What is the best epoxy for securing it to the hull? Has anyone ever secured one to the hull with 5200? I wouldn't think it would ever pop off with 5200.

I used 4200 on my last one and never had an issue in the few years I kept the boat after that.

Thanks. I figured it would work and would never separate from the hull. You never realize how good that stuff is until you try to remove it from something.
