Hey TODDW,
Thanks for the pics. A beautiful boat. What kind of performance are you getting from the 454 whipple? How much boost? I was looking for the head unit for the stereo...where is it located? Very nice pics and a clean looking boat! Now comes the question....how much?

Dave,
The stereo head unit is flush mounted in the cabin on the wall next to the love seat. Sorry no pic. I use a handheld remote to operate it from the helm. The amps are mounted behind the same wall. I have an aux. blower to provide extra cooling for the amps. The boat ran 81.4 on radar at Havasu. The boost is 6 lbs. Asking 58k neg.

Todd,
Yes, we are in the process right now of rebuilding the 25. Bruce from the board is doing all of the work. Should be better than new when completed. Just checking my options! Sounds like your boat is running well with the whipple! Sounds like a trick stereo you have set up as well. Great ideas about hiding the amps AND trying to keep them cool with the fan. I might have to piggyback your ideas! How long have you had the whipple on? Any difference in idle characteristics? Thanks for the pics!

LIQUOR MAN, No you do not have to change head gasket. It takes about 15 hours for a guy that has not done a Whipple before and about 10 hours if you know waht you are doing. the 454 Mag is agood motor for a Whipple you would love it.
