525s would be nice for the price, but what would really be great is the 725s with INDY or 700s with NXTs. Those are the combos to have....forget about bravo problems forever. Not sure what it would take to retrofit either of those, but it can't be easy and its obviously expensive.

Wink Better Option

Send us your old 496's and well make them into new 525HP-625HP 496's with all forged internals and custom dress for less than you will probably spend setting the boat up with new or late used HP525's and they will outrun the HP525's. we have a lot of Daytona owners with our packages and I don't hear any complaints. Call us if you would like to discuss this OPTION.

Why yes those would be both be great as well... but its all about the budget errr... the lack of....
