30' Daytona with 575's at Beaver Lake??
So I pull up for fuel at the Marina and the guy starts telling me about an Eliminator cat with Canopies on it, 30' with twin 575 Mercs that he filled the day before- a few friends saw it from a distance too.
Anybody we know? I need a ride in that thing!

Ken,
I had to go to springale Sunday and saw the fabulous 30-33 foot Daytona going west towards Tulsa. It caught both my wife and myselfs Eye. It was sharp! Pulled by a Red powerstroke duelly.
Do you know anything about the 33 foot Daytona that was in the Trader boat-motorcycle issue with twin 1100hp Paul Plaff engines, 20k stereo. I called and it was sold! Belongs to someone at Huricane trucking. They only wanted 150K and it looked great. Paper said only 17 hours on a 1999 boat.

Daytonas in the neighborhood
The 30 seen on the lake was not Kaedon's (Hurricane trucking).
I'm happy for him that he sold it- it was not getting a lot of use. Whoever bought it needs to put 10" pulleys on the blowers- it had Bravo's with lots of Imco goodies but they were not up to the task. A lot more than 17 hrs being towed in. I'm not sure if the claimed HP correlates to the claimed top end either.
