27 Daytona ICC Speed Question?
Looking at possibly getting back into a cat. Saw a 2004 27' Daytona ICC (closed deck) with a stock 425hp. Seller is claiming under optimum conditions and light fuel 80mph. Any clues to true GPS speed? Thanks.

Is that going down hill.

I love the Pantera and it suits me perfect for my area but once you get bitten by the boat bug my ADD kicks in and I start looking at other shiney objects. LOL My last go fast boat was a 22 Talon and always had the idea of going back to a larger cat. Just doing some homework if I come across another good deal. There are a bunch of these 425hp Eliminators out there but no one seems to want to give an accurate GPS speed. I'll call the factory and see what they say.

Give an accurate GPS speed LOL, thats a understatement. I am sure some times you get the real speed but for the most part I wouldn't believe anybody from what I have seen. Only way is to get in the boat and find out first hand. Dare I ask how fast the pantera is gps?
