If I'm calculating right a 30 at 5200 vs a 28 at 5500 would be 1/2 MPH difference with less bottom end.

Sounds like 1.5 with about 0.11% prop. slip. Is that a Imco ext.box.

when they sold it it was replaced by a bravo 1 and 525sc combo. the 525 sc has 20ish hrs on it now since complete refresh. Hone, polish crank, valve job and resurface. Also has a Comp xtreme marine cam, XM284hr-12.

Resurrection, my good friend just bought this boat and she is now livin' easy on Maryland's Eastern Shore, Choptank River. Really nice rig. Has a 604 BBC in it now. We are going to see how it runs in about 3 weeks.

He got the 604 fired up last weekend, just a few finishing touches left before sea trials. All of us are excited to see what she does on the Choptank.

I had a 25 Daytona with a carbed HP 500 with a 250 Blowershop blower. It made just under 600hp and would pull a 30 pitch 5200-5300 and run 90mph with a 1.5 ratio. I think if you go to a 30p you will need a few more ponies to hit the 90 mph mark.
