I have a 2001 26' Daytona in the shop thats never been rigged . Owner wants us to finish it , has a Semi Finished 614 with a 14-71 , BMax Drive .
What are you using for water pickups and where are you putting them? It has had the Transom Cutout , but havent measured it yet , what do I need for an X Dimension .

It all depends on what he expects out of the boat. I have mine set up for the prop shaft 2 inches above the bottom and it is working well for me. Most are running with the prop shaft level with or 1 inch above. A neutral extension box will be a big improvement also. ( I am running one ) Before I installed the box I was 1 inch above and was able to get on plane with a Bravo 4 blade after increasing negative trim. I am using the water pick up built into my IMCO -3 shorty lower.
