2" shortie 26 daytona???

Is anyone running a 26 Daytona with a shortie?? I just ordered one for my 26. Have heard many different opinions. Performance Reasearch in Ohio has tried it on a few 26's and have picked up at least 4 mile an hour on each. Just wanted some feedback.

Thanks

2001 28 Eliminator Daytona
I know one of the 26' boats that PRI put one on and it picked up at least 4 mph.

2003 Eliminator 30' Daytona
Eliminator has built there boats with a number of different x-dimentions. The question is where is yours now? If I remember correctly (don't quote me on this info, I am not sure) that eliminator built the first boat with the drive 2" below the rub rail (easy refrence point) no box & did not work that good. They then lowered it a 1/2 after that. Mine is 2" below with a stand off box. The problem with me trying higher is I have a big heavy bowrider up front. I know we have discussed this before. You might try a search & see if you can come up with the thread. This was earier this year when I was looking at raising mine.
