Yeah, it has some stress cracks on the deck around the winshield. The interior is all original both cabin and cockpit.

The stress cracks around the windshield base only seem to happen to the regular glass boats not the Kevlar. My son and I saw a 40 Hawk at Big Thunder Marine L.O.T.O. It was the roughest looking 40 Hawk I have ever seen, it was yellow and white but it was Kevlar Hull & deck with no stress cracks at all at base. It seems like that boat had a K in hull ID # . Our Black 40 Hawk had those cracks fixed four times and they aways came back. I have a Excalibur Price sheet from June of 1982 that I will scan and post. Jons

I'm in south eastern Michigan by Metro Airport. The Black Hawk 40 I sold, it went to L.O.T.O. I have some items I will e-mail to you on Hawk 40s. Have you ever seen a Blue Hawk 40 with Speed Masters on it in your boating travels.

Can you guys post some pics? I was thinking of pulling my plexi-glass smoked windshield, and having a shop paint it white for me, to make the boat look a little newer.

mild thunder- i have a lot of pictures in my signature below. There is an excalibur section. I know the guy that did alot of fabrication for Excalibur and Wellcraft in the 80's. He has the blueprints to build an aluminum faring like mine.
