Default Hawk 39

Looking at an old 1983 Excalibur Hawk 39. It has 454/420's. Upholstery original, but not tore up. Cabin is dated, but in good shape and original. Everything works on the boat. It comes with a trailer and a recent survey.

What is a good price to pay for it?

Did they come with BW or merc trannies?

Any pics of them would be cool. Thanks

Boat could be worth as low as $ 20,000 to $ 45,000
Trans could be 71c or 72 c Borg Warner also some had Merc Trans

The trannies should have a plate on them with serial numbers, make would be there too. I dont care what kind of shape it is in, if it runs its worth everybit of 20,000. Where is the boat? I know of a few out there.

I have tons of pictures of them in the link in my signature below.

Mild Thunder, There is a 40 Hawk on E-Bay looks nice, paint redone, upgraded power, AC, with trailer. I see the trim tabs are missing in the pictures, would want to know what is the deal is with that. Reserve is meet, bid is at $26,100 (Item # 4563247753)

The one on ebay has been converted to bravo drives. They probably replaced the transom to do that and never put the trim tabs on yet.
