Excalibur Mopar
I am told by a friend of mine in the storage biz he has a 27 Excalibur with twin Mopar 340 cubic inchers with special Markings on the boat identifying it as a special build. He claims it is a 1979. Have you heard of this? I had a 1980 31 Excalibur best boat I ever owned.
Thanks

vertigo88,
THANKS for all of your help./info. You learn something new everyday...I didn't know that the Activators from LI NY were the same hull!! NONE of the Speedsters were made by Excalibur...only Wellcraft...is that correct??
There was an Excalibur 27' flat deck around here in the early-mid '80s...factory orange and white paint that was called the "EXECUTIONER"...in black lettering on the sides. Maybe named after the Fountain-Excalibur collaboration. Pretty boat...until the windshield was replaced with a non stock one which was way taller, angled to a point in the center and in a slightly different color. To me, that killed the look of the whole boat! The last time I saw it...probably 5-10 years ago now...it was turned into a P class race boat. Anyone know of its current whereabouts?? I was wondering if it was still in NJ (down at the shore maybe) or not??

Hi, I have a 27 excalibur with 2 optimax 225.
Photo is from the previous owner with a pair of optimax 200 and 4 brades merc....he doesn't remeber the pitch.
He told me that he run at 63mph...
I would like to know wich cruise and top speed you can reach and wich props you are using.
Thanks a lot
