Hi,I'm Enrico and I write from Naples,Italy.I have an Excalibur 27'speedster with 2 x 200 mercury optimax on bracket.I remake my boat wiht scarab logo but i don't know it's write or wrong because I don't understend if it's a Wellcraft production ...I like to know the story of 27'speedster and sorry for my imperfect english,bye

now I'would buy 2 power lift,in this condition my max speed is 63mph,I hope to better the trim with the power lift because the boat it'not stable

Bill Farmer made the 27 Excalibur Speedster. Wellcraft bought the molds in 1985 and also called it a 27 Excalibur Speedster. They only made it for a couple years. Activator Powerboats now has the 27 molds. If your boat is 1984 or older chances are it's a Farmer. 1985 or newer a Wellcraft. Also if your VIN starts with WEL it's a Wellcraft. Looks good, what's the wind screen made of?

ok tank's...my boat is 1985',the wind screen is made in fiberglass,it is united body with the instrument panel.At last i show some photos,bye

I JUST BOUGHT A 1984 WELLCRAFT EXCALIBUR 27 SPEEDSTER 534 HOURS WITH NOTCHED HULL 454 POWER TRS DRIVE SOLID BLACK GOLD STRIPES WERE ADDED WITH GOLD INTERIOR SERIAL NUMBER STARTS WITH WEL MINE MUST HAVE WHAT THEY CALL FLAT DECK , ALL I HAVE STICKING UP IS A 4 INCH WINDSHIELD.IM HEARING THESE ARE A REAL UNSAFE BOAT BECAUSE OF THE NARROW BEAM ? WHATS THE SCOOP.

84-85 for wellcraft. I think it is 6'6" at the transom. As far as being unsafe, I guess it depends on the driver. Never had any problems.

Default 27' ecalibur speedster New Mexico

hey i just bought a 27' speedster last november. i dont know much about it ethier. it looks like a well built boat. currently i am a helicopter mechanic an this thing is built better than some of the helicopters i fly in. tomarrow i will post some pics of it. it has an inboard 502ci v8 big block chevy engine that i just completey rebuilt. the guy i bought it from told me it would 80mph but he blew a cylinder doing it. after what i did to the motor this thing aught to crusie at 80mph
