It is slow in here so here are some pics of me redoing the transom for a bravo set up. This is my first transom job but I will tell you it is pretty easy.I hope to have it gassed up next week. I only have 2 days a week to work on it. Any suggestions
Man those pics bring back some memories. One suggestion I can give is use some cardboard strips (about 3" wide) and a hot glue gun to make your template for the new transom. Here are some pics for motivation
Thanks I need it. I am going to get rid of my stelling and go with the lighting headers so my exhaust will exit under the rubrail now.SO ihave some patching and more painting to do.
What are you going to set your X at? The exhaust under the rubrail puts the pipes close to the water..better get some flaps. This is what mine looked like before.
I am going to put them just under the rubrail it is too loud in the cockpit with the dry exhaust. I love the sound but if I have people in the back they need ear plugs it is f--king loud
