What years?

Going to look at a 27 speedster sunday What years were these made? His brother gave it to him and he cant find the hin Says has thick paint? Assume hin was painted over Says is 89 Need to know what years was produced and are all the windsheilds same design? I know what an early looks like Is there anywhere else on boat that says the year? Im new to excalibers so need some help Thanks

Activator had the molds in 89 so I doubt thats the correct year. Before that Wellcraft started making them around 84 or so. If the HIN starts with WEL its a Wellcraft Excalibur. Before 84 the HIN will most likely start with NAP and that would be a Bill Farmer Excalibur. Both companies called it a 27 Speedster.
