Forrest,
I e-mailed to challenger offshore and received a reply from the president of the company. He was very helpful. They still use the same hull design, and have an updated deck that is still a tall deck but has a curved windshield and some other refinements, a very nice looking vessel. He knew quite a bit about the history of the design, apparently so do some other people. The design is not an Excalibur copy, but rather a Don Aronow original. It was designed by Don for one of his other company's, Performer boats. The molds bounced around and are now part of the Challenger line up.
Thanks to every one who help me trace this boat!
Thank you
Herman

Forrest,
Just to let you know, we just came back from Texas last Sat. Boy that was a long trip, I'd rather go to Fla. twice a week than go to Texas again, wow!! Anyway the boat is in our yard now, I will post some pic's shortly,
Herman
I know that it's not an Excalibur, but i received the most help from this forum, just thought you might be interested.
