Apparently a faulty propshaft seal leaked in water for a long time. Said all the internal parts are destroyed and need to be replaced. I saw all the parts... twisted input shaft, rusty prop shaft, rusty gears...etc.
Question: Is rust on a prop shaft really a problem?
Does anyone know where I can get a used or reman?

What a clever idea!
Yes, Christmas cards. This is coming early so that you can get ready to include an important address to your list.

Want to have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD this year.

As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice,

CHRISTIAN card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world..

Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.

Here's the address, just don't be rude or crude. (It's not the
Christian way.)

ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York , NY 10004

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 44 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a " Holiday Tree". . . It's always been called a CHRISTMAS TREE!

And pass this on to your email lists. We really want to communicate with the ACLU! They really DESERVE us!!

For those of you who aren't aware of them, the ACLU, (the American Civil Liberties Union) is the one suing the U.S. Government to take God, Christmas or anything Christian away from us. They represent the atheists and others in this war. Help put Christ back in Christmas!

Greeting MCPA Members!

Well boating season is over but that doesn't mean the fun is! We have a few events on the calender.

Dec 5 MCPA Christmas Party

Our annual Christmas Part will be held at the VFW. Party will begin at 7:00 PM. There will be food and a DJ. We will be playing "Dirty Santa" please keep gifts under $20. The VFW will be helping the Hendersonville Police collect toys for "Christmas for Kids." Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Dec 6 Hendersonville Christmas Parade

MCPA will be participating in the parade in conjunction with the VFW. TNT marine has donated a boat to use as a float. If you would like to ride in the parade contact Charlie Barbera. Seats are limited : )

Dec 12 Light Up The Lake Christmas Parade

Hamilton Creek marina is hosting a lighted christmas parade on percy priest lake. The parade will begin at 6:00 p.m.. All proceeds go to buy christmas gifts for the kids at Centerstone. For more info contact Gary Clark at (615) 944-2628 or email at just-rite@verizon.net

MCPA now has a Facebook page, and coming soon a Facebook Fan page. This has been a great tool to keep everyone informed and to share photos.

MCPA is also sending out a questionnaire. We would like to get constructive input from everyone. All suggestion will be discussed, so please take a minute to fill one out. These can remain anonymous if you wish, there will be a collection box at the christmas party. You can also get the questionnaire from our website.
