It needs the motor from this in it:
A jet would be cool for the shallow river waters.
With a 1,498cc marine engine derived from Kawasaki’s astounding JET SKI STX®-15F watercraft, the Ultra 250X produces power comparable to a normally aspirated high-performance three-litre engine, thanks to the addition of a Roots-type supercharger. Unlike centrifugal superchargers or turbochargers, the Ultra 250X’s high-volume direct-drive supercharger delivers boost virtually instantly at any engine speed from idle to redline. This results in a linear, smooth torque curve which is ideal for a personal watercraft that needs to accelerate hard all the way from a standstill through astounding top-end speeds.

I was wondering myself how this project was coming along.
But Ken has been to busy buying cars, and taking poker run weekends.
How would you feel if your boat builder was doing this, and leaving the biz behind???
Now he has to call in a guy from toodle-e-doo to get the job done
Just bustin' your ballz.
Good luck with it and keep us posted. Daves a good guy - you'll get it done.

Do you have any pics of what the hull looks like? Will it be outboard powered? Or should I actually read the thread before asking silly questions.
Hey my site is fine without me for a few moments.
I can't be over here too much because I'm not a baller. Hell, I don't even have a boat anymore...

We still have our 10' Cougar cub. It was a miniature version of my Dad's race boat and it won the cougar cub world championship in 1983 I believe. The race format was highest point total of 3 races. One race anyone was allowed to drive, another race had to have a female driving and the last race had to have a 250 lb+ driver. My dad and his throttle man Tommy Akoury won their races. They asked some chick from I believe the "Four Runner" team to drive and she got 3rd or 4th. Here is a pic of the pull size boat. I will try to get soem pics of the cougar cub some day.

Ken have you seen these? They look very similar to your hull but are made out of FRP.
The Chinese are making these now. They are about $3500 FOB from China, with an 18hp Suzuki 4 stroke, no trailer:
They are knocking off the Mercury Mouse as well.
