Angry Bubbled Paint Under Gas Vent

We have a 2001 31ft Sonic with custom paint and I filled my tanks up last Friday and Tuesday afternoon noticed that under one of my vents the paint had bubbled. The bubbling is about a foot long and under that is residue from the gas that leaked out of the vent. It has not been that hot here in New Jersey for the gas to come out of the vent. We have had gas come from the vents before in real hot weather, but never a problem. Has anyone had this problem??? Any suggestions???

i have seen this before, i did a custom on a large cat several years ago and the owner filled all the tanks one afternoon for a run the next day. gas vented out thru the night lifting the graphics below all 4 vents. it was a mess and the damage spaned most of the colors. i wonder if you could put some kind of inline catch can that you could check periodically. wouldnt have to be to large really. maybe the size of a soda can with an in and an out near the top and a petcock at the bottom. course than again that type of araingment would affect the way it vents when filling up the tanks. it would fill up every time you reached full tank. . . . . .
