ClarkX3.... get ahold of Tom McNabb @ Captain Nabbers in Morris IL on the Illinois river. He has made solid fiberglass replacement for some Fountains before. actually made a mold from the old one and then built it out of sold glass. He was the first person i ever worked for in the marine industry and that is where i am from. Like yourself I also now boat at The alke of the Ozarks where I now live and have my own shop. There is a guy on here with a all red 35 fountain from Chicago area, with grey and black stripes on it that boat has the very first of Toms glass fairings. He is a great bottom guy ( blueprint etc. ) and recently bought some molds to build the Python Boats. He used to work there in GA. great guy give him a call. Tell Him Jason at Lake of the Ozarks sent you. He is also always down for the shootout so you could alwasys see him then

Those are recovered fountain bolsters. I've always liked their interior amd I wanted something a little diffferent (the odd kind of different). I plan on a custom back seat and engine cover (similar to this pic) so it wont look like I stole a fountain.

I wish I could come across some of those fountain seats. They look super comfortable. I also like the back seat although my boat is not big enough for the individual armrests. Have you priced the back seat work yet? I am trying to get an idea what to expect.

The place that did the seats do acceptable work at a very good price. $350/ea for the seats.
They are going to help me figure out the wood (no charge). The foam will probably be the highest cost. I can see $500-$700 in foam alone and then probably $1000 in labor.
It'll be a winter project, they're swamped and I'm knee deep in drive train right now.
