Capt, they are a new nozzle with a pick up hose for the sand. Similar to an air sandblaster but with water. The ones I have seen are only round $100 too. I have been thinking of getting one of those sandblasters for my pressure washer. I wasn"t sure how well they worked though.
I just looked it up. I paid $100.62 for it including shipping from www.perssureparts.com
If I remember correctly, it works using the venturi effect, not unlike a carbuerator. The water rushing past the sand pickup, creats low pressure, sucking the sand into the water. You don't have to worry about silicossis with the wet sand either.
