Default Transom Rebuild books/DVD's

I have a 1981 33 foot Cigarette that I need to rebuild the transom on this winter. What is the best book/books or DVD on Tranons rebuilds? Thanks

There are not many out there. There is a LOT of info on this site. Search Transom rebuilds and stringer rebuilds and floor replacements in the various parts of the board. It is not something that I would undertake with out the help of some one if you have never done it before unless you are VERY handy. It is a NASTY job.

Audio has the right idea, if you search the forums you'll find tons of info. You can also go to Sream & Fly, there are lots of transom, stringer, and core replacement threads with pics there too. And he's right. It's a NASTY job. Got sensitive skin? DON'T do it yourself...........

Transom are hard to do - I have done alot of them call me Steve at Face It Boat Reconditioning, I can talk you throu it with pics and ideas. Some areas we can do and some you can do. You'll need to know how to do good glass work with no air pockets

Check out transom repair.com i used the seacast stuff on my 31 corsa,be prepared for some real slavery or pay someone to doit tripps
