Talking Carbon fibre dash

Where do you buy dash panels? Can they be done with a template and sanded on the edges?whats the procedure?

livorsi has many panels for t he more popular boats. you cn also try team marine or the original manufacturer. another option is to buy yourself a small sheet of 1/8 aluminium, some hole saws and some dykum( spelling?) , the blue spray stuff used in machining. get a bunch of bezels. come up with a layout using the bezels. once you like the lay out use a tape measurer, calipers, and a sharp awl and scribe in all the locations of the bezels. cut the holes with the hole saws. and then d.a the panel with 100 grit. as for the edges use a deburring tool. then paint.

or you could use a c.n.c machine.

heres a finished product of both methods

Yes easy to cut generic plastic with imprint I got ours from Norva Plastic in Norfolk Va They can make anything you need . 757-622-9281 www.norvaplastics.com.
