Great thread.....
I really learned some good tips, I sure wish this would have been around when I was looking to do something different with my Donzi dash. I ended up going with some pre-made gauge pods, that I wasn't really happy with....Had I known I could have done something like "V. V. " did....
BTW "V.V.".....nice job on the dash, really looks good...
This is how mine turned out Of course this was before I made the new "fill" panel for the GPS....

Thanks Rangerrick63, OSO is full of info this is my first glass job and if not for the help from the pro's here I wouldn't have attempted it. I got the aluminum panels cut out today and did some bondo and sanding need a little more and it will be ready for paint, I sent all the gauges I bought on e-bay to Livorsi and had the rims changed to polished stainless and have them all tested before the install. I will be using the mustard bezels to accent the stainless rims. By the way I had a 28zx and loved it, it had a blown 502 and 700 hp. More pic later. VV

Again, Thanks for all the help guy's!
I have just a little more to go and this project will be over. I still have to cover the rocker switch panel and the tab / drive panel, I waited to show you the before and after. none of the panels are screwed in so everything is not exactly lined up yet, More later.
Before
After
I ended up covering the panels with a voilet purple carbon fiber look vinyl, I also had Livorsi test all the gauges and change the mustard gauge rims to polished stainless rims and used the mustard bezels.

I'm giving you guy's the credit on this project, all I did is follow your directions. I ordered Black rocker switch covers, alarm lights, extinguisher light, key switches and new linard kills today and chunking the old ones since the gauges are black and the white rockers are looking old next to all this new. It's only money right! Thanks again my friends, if you ever need help drilling a oil or gas well let me know.
