A polished, non oxidized surface shouldn't leave a stain from a leaf unless it was on there for an abundant amount of time. If a wool pad and the OR isn't doing it then either Fiberglass Stain Remover or wetsanding.
If your boat is staining pretty easy then I'm guessing it has some decent oxidation or the leaf was on there for awhile?
I make a FSR that you can use to remove fiberglass staining to a degree. You'll need a non scratch pad and just a bit of elbow grease. If you have oxidation and it's heavy enough to absorb the stain then I suggest the Wetsanding 101 thread.
These were small stains (smaller than your thumb nail) on a white deck surface that didn't need sanding. I went over them by hand with a European product called Au-G-Sol. Stains are gone and the deck looks great.
has anyone ever used a product called New Glass 2 for boat oxidization and to bring back a new look, my boat is bad i have done the three step process with little sucess, i am thinking about wet sanding any thoughts
