Painting deck and above waterline myself
Hi, which is the most user freindly yet durable paint to use. Cost not as important as ease of use and durability. Awl-grip doesn't offer enough color choices. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. I have garage, equipment, and some spray experience.

Single stage Concept is also pretty user friendly. Most colors cover quickly to.

the interlux poly is a good choice, I have used it on a few occasions, you can even roll it and tip it off water sand and buff....looks better than some sprayed jobs..

Other than the prep work can you give my details on how you applied the Interlux Perfection and finished it? Looks like you sprayed it but I guess I'm kinda leary using a paint that claims it can be rolled on and get a good finish. Not saying it can't, just never heard of rolling paint on. How much was used on the cat hull sides? Did it lay out nice or did you have to wet sand and buff afterwards? Also, how long does it have to sit before wet sanding and buffing? Any advice would be appreciated. Heres my boat I want to repaint. Has alot of small scratches in it and the deck is getting dull.
