with 3 250s, a new foutain won't go 85, you will be more like 72 to 76. I don't think anyone on here would trust sea cast for stringers or transom. you need to grind down to fresh glass get old paint off and stuff. open boats are slower than full deck sport boat, I ran a trip 2.4 scorpion 30 off plymouth back in 96 or 97 and beat him by a few mph and let him get caught up and pulled away again I was only going 76 maybe 77 and with the set up I had. funny think is when they had it for sale and at the docks said it was a 85mph boat maybe speedo not gps so I went out to run them and came back to the docks and said hey I got a 86mph boat, well do now after new motor and 2'' shortie added. getting back to glass work you need to do it right replace transom with m plywood and stringers with glassed together stringers shops, I will find for you theres a friend in easton that needs one two with a cc boat I think its a wellcraft, theres a guy on the cape MRV8OUTBOARD I will call him monday and a guy in fall river and up in maine too. so I will try and call these people to see if there looking for work right know, don't mean to bust about speed but that day I ran them I thought I was running 80 plus until I took a gps out with me I was 76 77 what the f and now at the mid 80s its wild cause I don't have full hyd steering just add on so I bought the rest of the kit to stop the chinewalk or slow it down.I am going from a 650hp motor to a 1050 or more its not on the dyno yet, that will be fun computor with 0 slip 124 but with 14% slip 104 to 108 this will be interesting when its done to see who much slip I will have with a 34p prop 4 blade or 30 5 blade right now it s only 12%, well back to glass I will leave phone #s monday
