Bravo Lower Paint remover

Some of my paint is comming off of my Lower half, so i was thinking about removing it and leaving it the satin aluminum or painting it silver, what kind of stripper would be good for this, not messing up the aluminum.

I used a flap wheel on my right angle grinder and a da dander with 100 grit. Worked well and very good finish. I then sprayed it with the Merc gray primer. I think it is zinc primer or something? I then shot it with black engine paint.

We just did Jim Diesel's drives on his 31 Sonic (scroll down the page about half way) http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...ow-here-6.html

We sanded the old Merc stuff off with a palm sander and hand sanded areads that it could not get into. I think it was with 400 grit. Sandblasting is a great option only if you completely disassemble the drive...as said earlier. It will get into the drive. Had to use filler for the nose cones and blend that as well. Went with the zinc chromate primer and then several coats of the merc phantom black.
