Glassdave transom mods

Dave, This is what I was talking about. I would need the thru-hull 1-75" holes filled in, bottom gelled. The new transom pickups would mount as close to the drain plug fittings as possible. Some mods to the pickup plate (as pictured) would be in order. I am thinking about just grafting the drain fitting onto the transom plate. Would do you think?

no prob Richard I'll put it on the schedule. do you want to integrate the drain and the plate that the pickup mounts with? I like that style pickup they will load a lot of water, to much if your not careful. i assume you have water pressure gauges?

up in Detroit at the moment doing the Gold Cup race. Boats runnibg ok but could only spin it to about 64/65 hundred rpm. Major oil pressure issues, got our spare motors in the boat. I think Ed pulled one of them out of the yard truck lol.

Dave, I just ordered a pair of them. When they get here, we should be able to do the fab mods here in the shop.
Yes, water pressure gauges AND most important-------Merc pressure relief valves. They also work on relieving some good coin out of ones pocket too.

Are u running na super cat motors? Love that high rpm BB sound.
