Default stains on gelcoat

I was cleaning my interior with a degreaser from home depot called Zep purple degreaser. I got some overspray on the sides of the top of the sides and there is a yellowish stain on it now. How do I get this stain off????? Do I have to wet sand, or can I polish it out? Thanks Anthony

This sounds crude but works great. Wet the area with a water hose, then spray some Eagle One Wire Wheel Cleaner on the area, let sit for about 15 seconds and rinse very thoroughly. Wax and you are ready. This essentially acid washes the gel and gets it back to its original white color.

ON-OFF Gel from marine stores. Brush it on. Removes stains from in the gel. Stains that won't buff off. Don't get on anything else though.
Plastic over trailer and don't get on drive and hardware. It will turn black plastic white and tarnish other metal surfaces.
