ovidation on gauge faces...

Did some searching but couldnt find exactly what I was looking for... figured a pro from around here might know... looking to remove the oxidation/water spots off of the gauges without harming the plastic face.... TIA!

Brasso polish for copper will help. Also Diamind Brite aluminum polish works. Many others also like Meguiars Plastic polish....Use heavy pressure several times with each application of product and then lighter and lighter pressure to buff back to a shine.

Go in the same direction....not circles because the heavy pressure will scratch a little and you have to buff these back out.

Try using some vinegar. Its probably not oxidation, and more than likely its hard water deposits. Use some plastic polish after and maybe a dremel with a polishing pad.
