FG pricing?
I'm looking to get a price on glassing up the 2 outdrive holes and the four exhaust holes on my 28 Cigarette. I have the ability to do it myself (I have before on my old Top Gun), but not necessarily the time. The transom is derigged, so nothing is in the way. What kind of estimate should I expect from a reputable FG repairer? The boat is in Baltimore, not that it matters unless someone around here is looking for some work.

oops . . . missed this one
Are you repairing a bad transom or upgrading to a Bravo setup. Either way I'd still do he whole transom. TRS to Bravo is risky to just fill and re cut. Cost wise i get $3500 for a transom replacement with a completely de rigged boat and no stringer involvement.

Dave -
Thanks, we are actually doing something a little different, not keeping the TRS's nor are we putting in 2 Bravo's. The existing transom is solid. But agreed, small fills are not the way to go.
I really appreciate your input; the glass guy is coming over this afternoon, and I wanted to be fair both ways.
Thanks again, Barry
