Its OK but i think Duratec is more suited to the marine environment. I think it builds better as well.

Thanks for the info. My supplier doesn't carry duratec but wants me to try this product on my deck plug (at no charge) I must add. I've been sanding and shaping 48 gallons of filler for the past 2 months and prefer to go with what I know instead of heading down the path of the unknown. We know how frre **** can pan out. Normally ends up costing more time and money.

Glassdave, still want to get your insight on a few things. Missed quite a few calls over the past few days with the compressors and sanders going. Give me a call again when you have a chance.

Eurofil and Slick sand are two completely different animals IMO. I use slick sand all the time on automotive parts. It works great and has its purpose especially on fiberglass. It will not sand as easy as k38 or the Eurofill. I like to lock everything down with slick sand then follow up with K38.

What products are you currently using?
I know my buddy hates the slick sand but i forget why now.
I think it was problems with it curing properly.
What all product lines does your supplier carry?
Transtar at all?
