Default Deck removel Question.........

Hello guys,
I am moving forward with my deck mods on my 78 Spectra project. After reading about the other deck removel thread I got thinking I may just remove the deck to do the deck mods. For those unaware of what I am doing, I am going to eliminate the head room in the cuddy and pull the windscreen back toward the cockpit. I am going to replace the rubrail anyway so I thought I could just remove the deck at this time for the mods. So in a nutshell what I am wondering is what most manufactures did with these boats back in the day. All my previous offshore boats where glassed together, Challenger, Saber, etc. If its not glassed together I would want to glass it anyway. My next move though depends on whether or not it is just screwed and sealed or if it is glassed. I have a feeling it is just screwed due to the year and manufacturer.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
John
