Polishing Aluminum

Every year I polish the Diamond Plate in my engine compartment by hand with rags and Mother's polish. I was thinking of getting one of the foam balls you attach to a drill but it seems like they would "load-up" easily and you would constantly be cleaning it. Anyone have any experience?

I used a mothers powerball to polish the tunnel on my snowmobile and it worked very well I'm sure it would work for your diamond plate as well

My boat is Smaller and slower than yours
Hands down Busch polish is the best. Its a whole lot better than mothers and the shine last longer. The mothers ball works ok but the diamond plate tends to shred it
