Its PPG Vibrance 3 stage. Hull side and deck. First stage is orange, then pearl, then clear. ?????

The last 33 deck I shot took a gallon of sterling mixed, add the sides and 71 is right between 2 and 3.

Default Fixx

it took me 3 gallons of imron @ 4 coats to do a 18' boat, but that was top, bottom and the inside.

also it depends on how much pearl you want to use, back in the day i would lay on the base coat, shoot on a coat of clear to reflect the pearl then clear over the pearl with 4 coats then wet sand and buff.

yikes what kind of gun were you using? I did a 42 Tiger w/graphics and tripple coated in DCU2021 and only used six quarts of clear (deck and sides). I was using an Accuspray Turbine though, wicked efficient gun. Also did a 36 Skater last summer in PPG Concept single stage (deck, sides, cockpit, bilge, dash, partial tunnel) still only used three gallons that was through a devilbus GTI gun.

for the 33 PP i would probably get two gallons of base and a gallon of the pearl and two gallons of clear.

thanks dave i will start with that. my paint guy is 5 min down the road so if it runs low i can run down and grab some. I dont want him mixing more than I need for the paint and pearl cause its custom and big $$$$, plus since its custom he wont take back what I dont use haha. Im going with the PPG Vibrance Oh-So Orange. Same paint as the orange donzi zrc.

That should look really sharp Adam. Any graphics, etc?

Are you close to being ready to shoot it? Post up some pics as the project comes along!
