How can I safely rub out boat with Decals/Stickers?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I want to rub out my boat with a high speed wheel. My question is can I go right over the stickers or do I need to stay away from them?

it really depends on how old they are and if they are a printed on graphic or just a cut vinyl. Some printed vinyls are really sensitive and the detail will come right off. Can you post pics?

Its a 1997 27 Fever if that helps. I'll try to post a pic but I have no idea how to. The graphics are however like a sticker so i would think they are the vinyl type.
Can't figure out how to insert an image from file? If you know, let me know and I will try again.

If its a cut vinyl you should be ok lightly buffing them. If it heavily sun damaged there not much you can do with them to restore the color other then replace them.

The vinyl stickers are in fine condition. My concern is taking a high speed wheel to them with rubbing compound and having them come off. I would just avoid them but I need to get the fiberglass directly next to them. Especially on the gunwale of the deck (the two skinny stripes running the length of the boat)

you should be ok buffing them then, i have never encountered a vinyl graphic that came off that easy. Just dont dig into them with the buffer, keep it moving. Do a small test spot first . . . . . I would wait till it warms up a bit though hope thats not a pic from today lol.
