Mobile fiberglass repair/work?
Upon talking with others I'm fairly confident I can do a decent job fiberglassing but for something as important as my transom, I think it may be best left to a pro. I have the back 6ft of the deck cut off and have no trailer. Is it unheard of having someone work at my location and if so where would I begin to look. Any suggestions/advise is greatly appreciated.

call frankie at fiberglass plus, hes in pt. pleasent, he came up to central nj to help me cut the cockpit out of my chris cat and replace my tanks and put it back together, he knows shadows and chriscats very well, I believe he used to work for shadow in the early 80s, he put pipeline back together as well

most certainly not out of the ordinary to find a guy that travels. I have a couple of fifty plus footers i routinely travel to for upkeep. Just went out a couple weeks ago to do a core layup on a boat that could not be moved. I dont do it near as much as i used to due to shop workload but it is kinda nice to get out once an a while. When i was younger i bought a Toyota 4x4 and set it up with gas compressor, etc and did pretty well hitting the marinas/yards in the spring. Keep in mind though on large multi day/week jobs you may pay a premium for not being able to move the boat to a shop location, it can get very expensive to travel.
