Default 353 fast tech bottom paint removal !!!!

I took this job a month ago.. Its a 2002 fast tech and it had a chit load of paint.. This is the biggest one I have done so far. It was sanded with 80 then primed and then alot of bottom paint. Came out awesome here are some pics. Can't even tell it was painted.

Nice! thats a lot of work. I just did one that had some sort of bomber white paint like Awlgrip and the primer was like an etching product. Had to have it media blasted then re finish, the primer was the worst part though and seemed to stain deep into the gel. Ended up re gelcoating the running surface then painted the bow rise for consistency with the rest of the project.

That looks great.

This had primer also. Who ever bottom painted it did it correctly.. They sanded it with i think a 80 grit 6 inch disc then primed it and then had about 8 years of paint on it. I had to use a da with 180 to get the primer off then work the sandingfrom there and buff it. What a ***** but it came out good.
