Vindicator240

I have a 2001 vindicator, and there is a small place on the side where somebody hit the dock I guess. Anyway, I've tried to get a repair kit from spectrum color, but they don't have mine in there database. They want me to cut a 1" x 1" piece out of it and send to them. Anybody have any better solutions? I really don't want to cut more of my boat out.
